GIVE YOURSELF SPACE
It’s very important to make out one hour for your own self from your daily routine so that you don’t get overwhelmed with everything that is going on. One of my favorite way to clear up some space from my mind is to do brain dump. Well I know it’s not any term, Haha but it’s when you get a blank paper and write down anything that is in your mind. This technique helps to bring awareness to the negative thought patterns and let go of all the information that your brain doesn’t need.

FIND YOUR HAPPY PLACE
Identify what makes your mind a happy place. Recognize what calms your mind instead of overwhelming it. This can be anything like your favorite activity, meditation, workout, yoga, favorite TV show, music or any other hobby. It can also be some physical space like your bedroom, nature, parks, sports club or any other place which calms your mind and soul. So, whenever your thoughts turn out to be negative, you can simply go to your happy place to attain some mental peace.

GET RID OF DISTRACTIONS
Distractions are one of the main causes of negative mindset. It’s very normal to get distracted by number of things in our daily life. Especially through our phones and the notifications that keep on ringing every other minute. This constant need of scrolling through internet all day and consuming the information does nothing, but interrupt our focus. And ultimately, we end up procrastinating things, overthinking about it and building up stress. So, a simple hack to get rid of negative mindset is to get rid of everything that distracts your mind and interrupts your focus.
ASK YOURSELF GOOD QUESTIONS
When taking a mindset detox challenge, it’s not only important to remove the negativity, but it is also very essential to ask yourself forward moving questions. Say for example if you’re feeling negative, then instead of asking yourself that – Why am I feeling negative?
You should rather ask yourself –
- What can I do to follow my happiness?
- What makes me feel happy and positive?
- When should I start doing what makes me happy?
Powerful questions will help you get powerful answers. This hack is a total game changer because it helps you to analyze the way you think.
WHY GET A MINDSET COACH?
Mindset detox doesn’t end here. Detoxing the old thoughts and ways of thinking makes room to create more nourishment for your mind. So each day, it is important to schedule time for your personal growth and thought patterns.
It is said that friends are an important part of our life but sometimes, we all need an objective third party to help us bring more awareness to our thoughts and reach to meaningful conclusions.
“This is where a coach comes in.”
If friends help you “get by”, a coach helps you to grow to a different level of yourself. A mindset coach asks you positive and forward moving questions and helps you create an action plan.
